Furore - SS24

Furore is a knitwear collection exploring suppressed anger and anger.

„Anger is like water“ guides Furore, evident in its surface and color, reflecting the flow of anger through the body. When this flow is obstructed, anger seeks alternative outlets, represented by metal rings embedded in the knit, protruding or receding depending on movement. The impulsiveness of erupting anger is mirrored in the prints on the knit and skin such as „I hate it here“, „was ist wut“ and „ich bin wut".Suppressed anger constitutes a significant portion of anger. But what about those who don‘t feel anger or consciously suppress it? „Furore“ seeks to answer this question. In a laboratory-like setting, individuals share their experiences with anger, revealing its subjective nature and the impactful experiences, both positive and negative, associated with it.

Ultimately, it‘s concluded that anger isn‘t solely negative; it‘s necessary for change and self-protection. Anger must be felt, ensuring it doesn‘t cause illness and that one benefits from it.

Was ist Wut? Ich bin Wut.
